2020 saw the 1200 years anniversary for the building of the iconic Oseberg Ship. The event was celebrated by an outdoor board exhibition at the building site for our replica Saga Oseberg.
On 12 boards, we take you through the history of the ship and the tools used for building it, and take a closer look at the textiles and other objects discovered during the 1904 excavation. We also present new information on the two women who were buried with the ship. For those of you who are prevented from paying us a visit, we will present the same information here on our website in the days and weeks ahead.
