OPENING HOURS: Both the Viking Park in Sandefjord and Vikingodden in Tønsberg have seen an enormous influx of visitors this wonderful summer. Foreign guests in particular have greatly appreciated our two Viking Age workplaces, with free access both to participate and to get answers to their questions. Many volunteers have also spent part of their holiday from work and school contributing to the building of the new Gokstad Ship, a project carried out in close cooperation between Sandefjord and Tønsberg.

Wednesday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Thursday: 10 AM – 8 PM
Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Opening hours Tønsberg:
Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 4 PM
The kiosk is open Fridays and Saturdays 12 AM – 4 PM
and occasionally on other days as well.
